This butterscotch cake is the perfect birthday cake for every butterscotch lover. It is flavourful and moist and ...yes you definitely have to try it out! Usually everything butterscotch flavour is only the frosting of the cake but in this case the cake itself is flavoured with butterscotch and the frosting is a simple vanilla buttercream one that goes perfectly with it.
Feel free to omit the frosting part since the flavours of the cake alone is already good as is but if you are looking for something more special I would recommend to frost your cake and top it with crushed nuts for more explosion of flavours.
